A precise analysis of the opportunities and risks and of the business, with an assessed action plan about the whole or about a part of the company.

Generally speaking, this job requires the intervention of two members of FONTENAY MANAGERS, during a few weeks. By working together, they can share and challenge their points of view on the major issues.

The starting point of the exercise is a helicopter view. Then, more detailed analysis take place, depending on the difficulty of the issues that are identified. This method helps to draw priorities. At the same time, the managers from FONTENAY MANAGERS make sure that the plan is solid in its details. FONTENAY MANAGERS has elaborated this method thanks to its experience of turnaround operations, for which it is necessary to think quickly, and spot the traps that could block the evolution. Once again, thanks to its experience in turnaround situations, FONTENAY MANAGER can work directly and immediately with the staff so as to bring out a realistic and motivating plan.

The exercise goes from the analysis to the action plan :

  • analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks,
  • the plan is broken down into a number of actions,
  • for each one of them, a responsible person able to drive the plan is proposed,
  • for each one of them, the foreseen impact on the profitability and on cash is evaluated,
  • everything is written on sheets that summarize the forecasted profit & loss and cash situation.

This exercise requires a deep understanding of the data and of the key persons in the company.
